Terms of Use (EULA)
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and the developer ("we", "us") governing your use of the Salati iOS app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. This license is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where these Terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict, the terms more protective of your rights apply.
Subscriptions & billing
Salati Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. The following applies to all subscription options:
- Plans and pricing. Premium is available as a weekly ("Jumu'ah"), monthly ("Hilal"), or yearly ("Barakah") subscription. The exact price and billing period are shown in the app before you purchase, in your local currency.
- Free trial. Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; Premium remains active until then.
- Payment. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. We are unable to issue App Store refunds directly.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the app only for lawful, personal purposes, and not to reverse engineer, resell, or attempt to circumvent the app's technical protections except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Prayer times & religious content
Prayer times in Salati are astronomical calculations based on your location and a chosen calculation method. They are provided as guidance and may differ slightly from your local mosque or religious authority. You are responsible for verifying times where precision matters. Quran text and translations are provided for personal reading; we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant that all content is free of error.
App blocking
App blocking uses Apple's Family Controls (Screen Time). It is a focus aid, not a security or parental-control guarantee, and its behaviour depends on iOS. We are not responsible for any missed notification, message, or activity in a blocked app during a prayer or reading window.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
